For those arriving early and feeling social there will be a chance to meet other conference participants in an informal manner on the evening of the 4th of October.
The Ice-breaker will be held in the La Pyramide bar at the Radisson Blu hotel from 8pm. The address is; Radisson Blu, Margrethepladsen 1, 8000 Aarhus C.
All conference participants will receive a discount of 10% on a wide selection of both soft and alcoholic beverages at the bar. There will be complimentary snacks from the conference organisors.
The conference secretariat and a number of invited keynote speakers will be present so do come! If you cannot locate us in the bar, simply ask some of the Radisson staff.
The conference dinner will be held Wednesday October 5th at "Turbinehallen" which is a remodelled "Electric light and power plant" originally built in the year 1900 and a great representative for the industial architecture characterizing that period. The architect behind is Fritz Koch (1857-1905). You can visit the venue website here (in Danish only).
It is possible to bring a companion to the conference dinner at a favourable price. If you wish too book this option please use the registration page. Please also notify us via the registration if you have any food allergies or dietary needs; alternatively inform KongresKompagniet A/S.
Doors will be open from 19.00 - 19.45 and as participants arrive drinks and snacks will be served followed by a three course dinner with a Danish touch to the menu selection. There will be entertainment during the evening but rest assure also plenty of time to enjoy your dinner, socialize, relax or "dance the night away" until 1am.
If you are in doubt of how to get to Turbinehallen, you can walk there with a student assistant leaving either from Søauditorierne at 18.30, Radisson or Cab-Inn at 18.50 or the Plaza at 18.55.
