You are possibly familiar with Denmark as the land of the Vikings, Hans Christian Andersen and The Little Mermaid.
You might have an image of the Danes as people who spend a lot of their time riding bicycles and love eating raw herring, rye bread and liquorice – but Denmark is much more than that.
Come see for yourselves 12-19 July 2015 - when the city of Aarhus and its beautiful surroundings with beech forests and beaches provide the setting for being creative, sharing knowledge, and getting together at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2015.
We hope to give everyone an experience beyond the ordinary and we have therefore placed great emphasis on creativity and innovation.
IBO is in many ways an event that is steeped in tradition, but we have taken the liberty of shaking things up a bit and we will be offering you lots of inspiring activities and exciting experiences.
Out of respect to the IBO and the expectations shared by both competitors and jury members, we have of course preserved the ‘must-haves’ that make the IBO week so special – although we will be introducing them in a new form, which we hope will provide inspiration and give IBO a fresh breath of air.
One of our new initiatives is to replace the daily newspaper with our "IBONews" concept – a news channel that continuously transmits the latest IBO 2015 news on large screens at your hotel.
