The scientific programme starts Monday morning 27 May, 2019, and ends on Thursday 30 May, 2019, around noon.

Scope of the Congress

At the congress, emphasis will be put on the transition from qualitative to quantitative descriptions of images from a range of imaging modalities such as light and electron microscopy, ultrasound, MRI, X-ray CT, PET, MEG, X-ray crystallography, etc. The quantification and 3D reconstruction of parameters such as number, size, connectivity, tensors and spatial arrangement facilitates comparisons and the understanding of changes under different experimental conditions in biology as well as in materials. ICSIA 2019 will put to test the development and use of methods for quantitative studies of structures from the atomic and molecular level up to a grand scale at the highest scientific level.

We will be happy to welcome you in Aarhus on 27-30 May, 2019, and provide to you the best environment for the exchange of ideas and initiation of collaborations within and across research fields
