We encourage you to book the hotel when you make your registration online so you will not risk that your preferred hotel is fully booked. 

If for some reason it is more convenient for you to book the hotel room after having registered for the conference it is still possible to book and achieve the favourable conference rate.

Our 234 hotel rooms and suites are designed in various distinct styles. The Restaurant Scenario features an impressive Scandinavian breakfast buffet and caters for our conference lunches and dinners.

Scandic Aarhus City ****
Hotel Scandic Aarhus City opened on 1 June 2012 and is situated in the centre of Aarhus. This hotel is the third Scandic hotel in Aarhus. This hotel is located within walking distance of shops and sights. Visit Aarhus' Old Town and the ARoS art museum with its famous Rainbow panorama. Find Aarhus' popular pedestrian street, "Strøget", with its shops and department stores just outside the hotel. Climb to the top of the hotel for an impressive view over Aarhus city and the harbour, as well as the woods and beaches.

Price per room per night: Single DKK 1,175 and Double DKK 1,375 incl. breakfast.

 

CABINN Aarhus **
CABINN Aarhus was built in 2001. Located in the absolute centre of Aarhus at Store Torv and down to the Aarhus Å stream. All 192 rooms are multi-purpose. They are perfect for the single or for the family. All rooms have a private shower and toilet, TV, telephone and electric kettle with free coffee and tea. All standard rooms have bunk beds.

Single room per night: DKK 560 excl. breakfast
Double room per night: DKK 690 excl. breakfast
Commodore single per night: DKK 595 excl. breakfast
Commodore twin per night: DKK 725 excl. breakfast

 

Deposit, cancellation and changes
Reservations of hotel rooms must be backed up by a deposit payment. The deposit serves as a guarantee to the hotel for the first night and will be deducted from the participants’ hotel bill upon check-out. ALL REMAINING NIGHTS ARE TO BE PAID AT THE HOTEL UPON ARRIVAL.

In case of cancellation or changes before June 6 the deposit will be refunded, between 6 June and 21 July the deposit will only be refunded if DIS Congress Service is able to allocate the cancelled room-nights to another guest.

After 21 July no refund of hotel deposit will be made. Please note that in case of cancellation all hotels are legally authorized to charge the entire stay as booked by the customer also in case of no-show or early departure.

All changes must be made to DIS Congress Service in writing and not to the hotel.

All bookings will be made on a first come first served basis after receipt of hotel deposit, as long as DIS has rooms available.
