Friday October 30

09:00           Sustainability Safari (Departure from Scandic)

Please dress accordingly to the weather and for walking! AU rain poncho will be available for free.
This tailor-made walking Safari will take you from the Hotel Scandic Aarhus City down to the nearby disused freight area, where you will encounter social entrepreneurship, innovative recycling and extraordinary biodiversity. From there we pass by Hidden Places and follow the newly re-opened city stream while hearing about the development, the transformation and the livability of the City of Aarhus.

The Safari will end in the newly opened ARoS FOOD HALL on top of the famous ARoS Art Museum, where you will hear about their extraordinary approach towards sustainability. The City Architect of Aarhus, Stephen Willacy and the Inspector of the Natural Museum of Aarhus, Morten DD Hansen will accompany us on the Safari.
