The  green transition will lead to a multiplication on energy demand in the future and PtX solutions will be responsible for the major demand of green energy. To ensure a stable system operation new regulatory requirements are necessary during the entire lifetime of the plants, from grid access, system operation and lifetime monitoring. Data driven monitoring, real time simulation and digital twins will help to ensure a stable and strong interaction between the Power to X solutions in the energy system.

The session provides an overview of the challenges and experience with data driven modelling, system optimization and operational aspects of the electricity system.
