We are looking for helpful and motivated volunteers to help us make NordiCHI 2022 a success! This year, NordiCHI will be a hybrid conference, so student volunteers will be needed in-person and remotely. SVs will support various activities such as helping to set up posters/demos, assisting presenters, and helping attendees find their way around.

In return for your time (approx. 16-20 hours), you will receive free registration to the conference, a free t-shirt, and an SV party!

REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers must be undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. students registered for at least one semester during the academic year before NordiCHI.

IMPORTANT DATES

The SV lottery will close on 10th August (AoE). Notifications will be sent to selected SVs within 2 weeks of the closing date.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

• Complete approximately 16-20 hours of volunteer work prior to and/or during the conference (October 8^th to October 12th, 2022).
• Take part in an online orientation session in August.
• In-person SVs should arrive at the conference by Saturday morning (October 8th) at the latest.
