Masterclass 1: Navigating EU Legislation: A Roadmap to CE-Marking of PtX Plants

Moderator: DTI

How to ensure compliant and safe PtX installations and equipment. We want to move forward on implementing PtX. But we can’t afford to compromise safety. In this class you will learn about European legislation relevant for PtX plants and how to manage the CE-marking process.

Room: Preben Hornung Stuen

Masterclass 2: Accelerating PtX development with AI – Practical tools

Moderator: DTI

In the race to develop cutting-edge PtX technologies, traditional trial-and-error approaches are no longer sufficient. To gain a competitive edge, PtX companies must leverage advanced data-driven methodologies that accelerate technology development while minimizing costs and risks.

This masterclass introduces you to practical and actionable methods and tools that enable rapid exploration and optimization of complex PtX systems. Through real-world case studies, attendees will learn how a synergy between Design of Experiments (DOE) and AI produces a competitive edge by streamlining technology development, what pitfalls to avoid and how to get started.

Moderator: DTI

  • 13:15 Gruppediskussion
  • 13:25 Opsamling
  • 13:30 Tak for nu
Room: Preben Hornung Stuen

Masterclass 4: Status and challenges of production, distribution, and utilization of ammonia as a future widespread green fuel

Moderator: DTI

Ammonia is among the most promising candidates for future green fuels. It can be produced from water, air and electricity only and does not generate CO2 emissions upon conversion back to energy. However, for its future widespread deployment there are a few challenges that need to be overcome, both in terms of production of green ammonia, storage & distribution, as well as during combustion/other approaches for extracting the energy.

In this masterclass, an overview will be given of the status and main challenges in these different areas, and the different promising technologies that are likely to play a major role in the implementation of ammonia as a green fuel.

13.30 – 14.00

ABOUT THE EVENT

As we embark on the journey towards a sustainable future, the green transition stands as a pivotal moment in history. Yet, amidst the technological advancements driving this change, we must also acknowledge the critical roles played by nature and human interactions.

Join The Kitchen, in collaboration with CoRC, as we delve into the multifaceted dimensions of the green transition as a prelude to the upcoming Power-to-X symposium this May. Our curated panel discussion will transcend disciplinary boundaries, offering insights from diverse perspectives.

Explore the intricate relationship between technology, nature, and human behavior with representatives from three distinct viewpoints. Gain deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities inherent in large-scale green projects, such as the impact on local ecosystems and communities.
