Simone Ruf is a lawyer and the Deputy Head of the Center for User Rights at Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF). The mission of the Center for User Rights is to strengthen and enforce users’ rights against online platforms through strategic litigation, complaints and policy work.
LK Seiling coordinates the DSA40 Data Access Collaboratory which focuses on the implementation of platform data access for researchers under the European Union’s Digital Services Act at the Weizenbaum Institute, Berlin. They studied Psychology (B.Sc.) at the University of Mannheim, Cognitive Systems (M.Sc.) at the University of Potsdam, and Human Factors (M.Sc.) at the Technical University of Berlin.
Ulrikke Dybdal Sørensen is a political scientist and Industrial PhD Fellow at the Danish Ministry of Digital Affairs and Aalborg University. Her project is a research collaboration between the Centre for Social Media, Tech, and Democracy and the Department of Culture and Communication. As the Ministry’s first embedded researcher, she is studying digital information and democratic debate on social media in a Danish context. Her work engages with research-informed policymaking and platform governance.
David Wegmann is a PhD student at Aarhus University's DATALAB. He studies the influence of social media platforms with a particular focus on YouTube in Denmark using GDPR-based data donation, platform data accessed through DSA40(12), and survey data.
