Robophilosophy Conference Series

Robophilosophy Conference Series features international large-scale conferences for philosophy of social robotics. The biennial series was inaugurated in 2014 as the world's first series in this area, and is planned out until 2022.

Robophilosophy 2014

Robophilosophy is defined as "philosophy of, for, and by social robotics" (Seibt 2014; read more). The conferences are focused on philosophical questions raised by social robotics, in all systematic areas of philosophy (ontology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, epistemology, ethics etc); however, since robophilosophy is by definition interdisciplinary, the conferences bring together researchers from philosophy, robotics, anthropology, psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, law, economy, sociology, and art.
