As Denmark is a peninsular in the northern part of Europe, you can reach the conference venue by car or train from any of the countries in northern Europe. Several flight and ferry options are also available.
Hotel Vejlefjord, the conference venue, is located 20 km east of Vejle city; the E45 motorway passes close to Vejle.
Several international airports offer flights to airports in Denmark. If you arrive in Copenhagen Airport (the largest airport in Scandinavia), you can get connecting flights to Billund Airport (southern Jutland), Aarhus/Tirstrup Airport (middle region of Jutland) and Aalborg Airport (northern Jutland).
Public buses (nos. 43, 119 and 143) go at regular intervals between Billund Airport and Vejle; the trip takes approximately 45 minutes. Tickets are sold on the bus; please note that cash (Danish currency) is required. Information on bus time tables and tickets is available at Billund Airport web site.
You may also arrange a taxi from Billund to Vejlefjord, or you can rent a car at the airport.
If you prefer to take a taxi at Billund Airport, an agreement has been made for conference delegates with Billund Taxa. Please give the code 'ISS2015' to the driver before departure to secure a special price of DKK 850 for a car with 4 passenger seats or DKK 1025 for a car with 8 passenger seats for the ride from Billund Airport to Hotel Vejlefjord.
The train from Copenhagen to Vejle operate on an hourly basis. Information on train connections is available at the Copenhagen Airport web site www.chp.dk and at www.rejseplanen.dk.
If you travel to Denmark by train, the northbound trains will stop at Vejle Station. The train from Copenhagen to Vejle operates on an hourly basis, and there is a direct train connection from Copenhagen Airport to Vejle. The travelling time is approximately 2.5 hours.
Travelling by train is a comfortable way of enjoying the Danish landscape and crossing the two major bridges which connect the different parts of Denmark.
You may reserve a seat in the 'quite zone' and benefit from efficient working hours. Seat reservation is strongly recommended during daytime (from early morning to 7 p.m.).

When you arrive in Vejle, you may take a taxi to the conference venue, Hotel Vejlefjord. An arrangement has been made with Vejle Taxa for conference delegates.
You can get a taxi in the street or at the railway station. You can also call Vejle Taxi at (+45) 7020 1222 and order a taxi.
Please inform the driver before departure that you are eligible for the special discount rate, which has been arranged with Hotel Vejlefjord. The fixed price for conference delegates are DKK 375 for a small car (four seats + driver) and DKK 475 for a big car.
Ferry services are offered between Aarhus and Kalundborg and between Aarhus and Sjællands Odde (catamaran).
There are also several options from Norway and Sweden to the Danish towns Frederikshavn and Grenaa (both are located in Jutland).
As in most parts of Denmark, Vejle has an extensive road network which provides easy access to the city. Hotel Vejlefjord is located 20 km from Vejle city, which is close to the E45 motorway.
From the north: Take exit 59 at DTC Transportation Centre north of Vejle and follow route 23 in the direction of Juelsminde the 15 km towards the small town of Stouby, where the conference site is located.
From the south: Take exit 60 after Vejle Fjord Bridge (in Danish: Vejlefjordbroen) and turn right towards Juelsminde.
Public parking is available at the venue.
