The Centre for Digital Heritage was established in 2012 to provide a focus for researchers from across the University of York with an interest in all fields of Digital Heritage, including data management, analysis and visualisation. In 2013 the Centre received funding to develop a collaborative international research centre with partners in Aarhus, Leiden and Uppsala. In this time we have moved from strength to strength and have recently welcomed Lund University to our network. We aim to undertake collaborative international research in the field of Digital Heritage, including the application of Information and Communication Technologies to the understanding and presentation of heritage.
