Registration fee

The registration fee includes:

• the scientific program
• a "Welcome to Iceland" pack
• breakfast snacks, meals and refreshments during the symposium;
• welcome reception on the 2 Oct.
• symposium dinner at the Grand Hotel Reykjavík, and visit to the Perlan Museum (incl. bus ride) on the 3 Oct.

The registration fee does NOT include hotel accommodation, which must be booked separately by the participants themselves.

Accompanying persons, who do not wish to attend the scientific programme, can register at a reduced price. Their registration still include the welcome reception, meals during the symposium, the conference dinner, and visit to the Pearl Museum.

How to register

Participants must register via the registration link above.

Cancellation policy

You must cancel your registration the latest 3 weeks before the symposium start (10 September the latest), in order to receive full reimbursement of your registration fee.

If you wish to cancel your participation and receive reimbursement, you must de-register via the registration link.

If you do not cancel the latest 3 weeks before symposium start, your registration fee is lost and cannot be reimbursed.

Guidelines for abstract submission for poster presentation, and/or oral presentation

Abstract submission

Your abstract should:

• be submitted as a Word file
• fit within one A4 page
• include title, authors, and optionally; references, figures and tables
• the name of the presenting author should be in bold

Your abstract must be submitted via the registration page before 1 August 2019.

You can upload max 2 abstracts, if need be: one for poster presentation and one for oral presentation. Please clearly state which abstract is "Poster abstract" and which is "Oral abstract".

When submitting your abstract, you have the choice between submitting it for poster presentation (mandatory, if you bring a poster), oral presentation, or both.

There is no abstract submission fee.

If you did not already submit your abstract for oral and/or poster presentations during your registration, you can submit it via the link in the registration confirmation email send to you upon registration, where there is a link to edit your registration page. Via this link, go to "edit personal details", and look for the "upload file" button under the header "Abstract submission".

Oral presentation

A limited number of submitted abstracts will be selected for such oral presentation (if yours is selected, you will be informed during August 2019).
