Accommodations

Accommodation at the venue is included in the registration fee.

  • Students registering early can share accommodation, reducing the fee.  Please note that you will need to agree with the student you are sharing the room with - and name each other in the registrations.
  • If you want to bring an accompanying spouse, please write  EWEG2D26"at"au.dk to ask for a direct registration link

Travel bursaries for PhD/postdocs

We have the opportunity to cover travel costs up to DKK 5000 for 3 PhD students and 3 postdocs.

To apply, please send an e-mail to EWEG2D26"at"au.dk and include the following:

  • Your abstract
  • A 1-page CV
  • A short (max. 1/2 page) description of why you need the bursary in order to be able to participate

One page and one figure only. Please name as: last name, initial first name, type of presentation.

Special Post-Deadline Call: Highlight Talks

We are opening a limited post-deadline call for Highlight Talks to showcase late-breaking, high-impact results that have emerged since the regular abstract deadline. This call is intended for exceptional new results that are timely and exciting, and that merit oral presentation at EWEG/2D. A small number of highlight slots has been reserved for particularly impactful and time-sensitive contributions.

Poster Abstracts – Submission Still Open

Poster abstract submission for EWEG/2D remains open until April 5, 2026. We warmly encourage poster submissions from across the community, including very recent results, work in progress, and emerging ideas that would benefit from discussion at the conference.

Deadline for both Highlight Talk and poster abstracts: April 5, 2026
