ICFUST brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers, and regulators working on the science, safety, and application of far-UVC technologies.

The conference will address fundamental research, safety and exposure assessment, light source technologies, regulatory frameworks, and pathways toward real-world implementation, with particular relevance to infection prevention and healthcare settings.

The scientific program is currently under development. Further details regarding abstract submission and registration will be announced in due course.

Conference host

ICFUST 2026 is hosted by the Group of Integrated Photonics at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aarhus University.

The group conducts research in nonlinear and integrated photonics, with applications in ultraviolet and mid-infrared light sources, spectroscopy, and quantum technologies.
