We invited submissions for oral and poster presentations at the International Conference on Far-UVC Science and Technology (ICFUST 2026), taking place June 23–25, 2026 at Aarhus University, Denmark.

All abstracts were reviewed by the scientific committee and selected for oral or poster presentation based on scientific quality, novelty, and relevance.

Conference themes

The conference covers the core areas shaping the field, including:

  1. Photobiological safety – Effects on skin, eye, and air chemistry
  2. Infection control – Efficacy, economics, and deployment
  3. Medical applications – Wound care, endoscopic use, targeted disinfection
  4. Light sources – Excimer systems, novel deep-UV emitters
  5. Measurement & standards – Radiometry, simulation, dosimetry
  6. Implementation & policy – Regulation, training, certification
  7. Emerging applications – Agriculture, allergen control, animal health, and more

Interdisciplinary and cross-cutting contributions are highly encouraged.

Submission guidelines

Abstracts are limited to 300 words (excluding title, author information, figure captions, and references). A single figure is encouraged.
