Spouses programme

Aarhus has a number of high-quality attractions. During the congress, the organisers will provide a spouses programme with opportunities to visit various sites in the city.

Monday 14:00

The University Campus is considered one of the finest examples of modern Danish architecture.

Meeting point: “Vandrehallen”, next to the Main Hall. A local guide will take you through the University Park and the new University City.

Tuesday 10:00 (suggestion)

Den Gamle By (The Old Town) is an open-air museum containing original houses dating from the 17th to the 20th centuries.

European Museum of the Year 2026.

The spouses’ programme includes free entry. No guide.

MOMU (Moesgaard Museum) is located at Moesgaard Manor, south of the city. It is famous for its exhibitions, including those on the Vikings, as well as its architecture.

Tickets are not included.

Take bus number 18 from the city centre, at Park Allé, directly to the museum. Buses depart every half hour.

Meeting point: Bus stop at Park Allé. Departure at 11:04.

Visit ARoS Aarhus Art Museum to see Olafur Eliasson’s Your Rainbow Panorama and James Turrell’s New Dome.

Those participating in the concluding banquet will receive free entry.
