Public transportation

Once in Aarhus, getting around is easy and many attractions and museums are within walking distance. Mobility on the city is further favoured by an efficient public transportation system. An extensive network of buses and trams provides convenient access to university campus, conference venues, and key attractions. In the city busses you need to purchase the ticket in advance and for that you have to  download the mobile app Rejsebillet. For the tram, single tickets can be purchased in tickets machines at the

Additionally, Aarhus is bike- and scooter-friendly, with designated bike lanes and rental services available for exploring the city at your own pace. You can rent bikes or scooters through apps such as Donkey Republic and Voi.

Parking

Aarhus has several main parking areas, including large public parking garages and zones in the city centre, most of which are paid and operated by the municipality. Parking is typically regulated by time limits and fees, payable via parking meters or mobile apps. In the University Campus timelimited parking is available in designated university parking areas. Free parking for a longer period is possible in the streets around the conference venue, north-est of the the campus area and the large street Ringgaden.
