The workshop is aimed for young scientist but also for experienced researchers interested in advances in angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The tutorials are structured as follows:
- basis of the technique
- spectral function and many-body effects
- recent advances in spatially-resolved ARPES
- ARPES with ultrafast lasers
- femtosecond electron dynamics
- acquisition and analysis of core level data
- developments in ambient pressure XPS
- XPD measurements and analysis
- Applications of the technique to 2D materials
