The history of the IC3DDose conference series was recently outlined by Prof. John Schreiner, see L J Schreiner, J. Phys.: Conf. Ser. 2630, 012001 (2023).
Below is a brief overview of the previous twelve conferences, inspired by the reference above. The meetings were originally instigated as the DosGel conferences to provide a forum for researchers developing 3D dosimetry. In 2010 they were renamed to acknowledge that a full complement of radiation-dosimetry technologies is required in clinical dosimetry. The last ten proceedings have been published in the refereed IOP open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series. These proceedings thus offer a comprehensive summary of developments in the field.
