Conference venue - Søauditorierne / The Lakeside Lecture Theatres, Aarhus University

The Lakeside Lecture Theatres are located in the bottom of Aarhus University Park (Universitetsparken), at

Bartholins Allé 3, 8000 Aarhus C.

The building consists of several auditoriums, with the main auditorium seating more than 400 people.

Inside, Danish artist Per Kirkeby created a large-scale painting on the walls and ceiling in 2001. Covering approx. 500 m2, the painting can be seen from the foyer and each of the three floors.

The main entrance is found in building 1250 - directions to any building no. at Aarhus University can be found through the AU Find app.

Workshops & Lunch - Matematisk Kantine / The Mathematics Canteen

The ICALP Workshops will be held on 7th July at The Mathematics Canteen, located at the Department of Mathematics in Aarhus University Park (Universitetsparken), at

Ny Munkegade 116, 8000 Aarhus C

This is also were lunch will be held throughout the entirety of the conference.


Welcome reception - Den Gamle By / The Old Town

The ICALP 2025 welcome reception is held at The Old Town museum ("Den Gamle By") at

Viborgvej 2, 8000 Aarhus C

The museum is an open air museum of Danish urban history and culture, located in the Aarhus Botanical Gardens. Here, it is possible to immerse yourself in the history of Danish market towns, by strolling around in the streets filled with historical buildings, shops, fashion, kitchens, tools, etc. The museum and its exhibitions reflect how the Danes have lived and worked in cities for centuries.

Conference Dinner - Hermans, Tivoli Friheden

The ICALP 2025 Conference dinner is held at Hermans in Tivoli Friheden at

Skovbrynet 5, 8000 Aarhus

The cultural venue Hermans, located within the Tivoli Friheden amusement park, offers a perfect setting for meetings, conferences, fairs, and more. Opened in 2013, Hermans provides a scenic and historic atmosphere. It also hosts a diverse range of intimate concerts, theater performances, and other entertainment for a wide audience.
