There will be two types of contributions that can be applied for: contributed talks and physical posters. The following rules apply:
- Talks and posters require in-person attendance. (We expect talks to be delivered in person, but exceptions will be considered by the SOC for reasons that impact a speaker’s ability to travel. Please contact the SOC if you have any concerns).
- Each participant is entitled to a maximum of 1 talk and 1 poster abstract submissions.
- There is a limit of 1 accepted oral contribution (invited or contributed) and 1 accepted poster per participant as main author.
- The organisers reserve the right to reject posters if the number requested exceeds the number that can be accommodated at the venue. In such cases, priority will be given to participants without an accepted oral contribution.
- Posters will have to be in A1 portrait format.
Please also note the following:
- When you submit a talk abstract, you will be asked to indicate if you think your talk is well-suited for a splinter session talk (10+8min) as well as a plenary session talk (12+3min). The SOC will make the decision.
- When you submit a poster abstract, you will be asked if you would like to give a 1-minute poster sparkle. Note that as there is limited time for these in the programme, they will be prioritised for junior participants.
- There will be an abstract writing workshop hosted by Lynn Buchele.
