As a new addition, the programme will on Thursday afternoon consist of a splinter session. Here, there will be three parallel tracks, leaving room for up to six different sessions each 1.5 hours in duration. The goal of the splinter session is to facilitate focused discussion within specialised subfields. Thus, in the splinter session, the contributed talks will have extra time (10+8min) in order to facilitate extended discussion.
The SOC will decide on the splinter session topics, but suggestions are welcome and can be sent to the organisers by email.
