The registration desk is located outside the main auditorium (Building 1412), where all keynote speakers will be presenting. The registration and information desk will open at 4 pm on Sunday 9th August and will be open during all major breaks.
The conference venue is located around the main building of the university at Ndr. Ringgade (buildings 1412 and 1413). All buildings have four-digit numbers and all rooms have three-digit numbers. There is actually an app that can help you find your way: “AU Find”.
The seminar rooms are located in two different places: The 'Nord-East' corner (Building 1325) and the AU Conference Centre (Buildings 1421, 1422 and 1427). Seminar leaders will receive information about rooms in separate emails. A full overview will be provided at registration.
Lunch packets will be served in 'Stakladen' (Building 1423).
Coffee points will be located in 'Vandrehallen' (building 1413) during the morning programme and in buildings 1422 and 1325 during the afternoon programme (except on Wednesdays). Specific information will be provided upon registration.
Transport between the city centre to the congress venue: All major hotels are located in the city centre, primarily around the railway station. The distance from the city centre to the Congress venue is approximately 2 km. Walking through the university park is highly recommended. From the railway station, take tram number L2 (towards Lystrup) which stops just outside the university (buildings 1441 (uphill) or building 1325 (downhill). For ticket or day card purchases, see: https://www.visitaarhus.com/aarhus-region/plan-your-trip/transport/public-transport-which-ticket-should-i-choose.
Parking permits for the campus area can be obtained by contacting the information desk. Parking permits must be renewed every day. Please note that parking permits only apply to AU parking spaces. The streets in the park are public areas. Please read the signs carefully. The best places to park are Fredrik Nielsens Vej, Tåsingegade 3 and Jens Chr. Skous Vej.
